Meet Cedric Okiorina

I’ve always struggled a little when it comes to writing short bios, whether it’s for a dating site or right here on my own travel blog site! To make a very long story short, I picked up a strong case of the travel bug at the young age of 6 when my folks took me on my first overseas trip to the breathtakingly beautiful Cape Town in South Africa. Since that eye-opening trip, I like to think I’ve become something of a very seasoned traveler, making my way across pretty much every continent.

If you’re reading this, I’d expect you to share my passion for travel, and I hope you’re able to use some of my experiences and tips on your next adventure – wherever that may be.

Join me, Cedric Okiorina, on my journey around the world!

America

I was lucky enough to take a trip which involved both Northern and Southern American countries a few years ago, visiting some pretty incredible places on my journey. The blogs I wrote to help those of you wishing to head over to the Americas include a ‘top 5 must-eats’ in the USA as well as one that covers some of the most amazing beaches I’ve ever seen in South America.

Asia

If I were to write everything I wanted to about my travels across Asia, I’d be writing forever and a day. From the friendly, welcoming locals in South-East Asia to the highly impressive architecture and cleanliness of Singapore, the opulence of the Maldives’ water villas to the allure of Indonesia’s countless islands and more, there’s no shortage of things to see and do. Learn about where you can visit in SE Asia that’s still moderately untouched tourism-wise as well as a few common scams you should watch out for across Asia.

Australia

They call it ‘God’s country’, and you know what? I can see why. There are some absolutely incredible spots around Australia that simply have to be seen to be believed. If you’re planning to make your way to ‘straya, you have to check out at least a few of the ‘10 ‘Big’ Things in Australia to See’. And while you’re there, I highly recommend finding yourself a genuine country pub to taste-test a few of the local beers you’ll find on tap there (you might need to stay the night in the local motel to sleep it off, though!). I’ve put together a list of what I think are their 5 best beers for you to try.

New Zealand

I mean, if you’ve seen any of the Lord of the Rings movies, you’ll know just how dazzling the scenery is in NZ. If you haven’t yet seen the movies, I’ll start by suggesting you check them out ASAP! I particularly enjoyed my visit to Rotorua and as such have put together a list of things to do while you’re staying there (this also includes some stuff in the surrounding areas). Plus, be sure to have a read of my most favourite hikes in NZ.

Europe Travel Stories

From the Nordic countries in the North to the lowest tip of Italy in the South and everything in between, Europe offers a huge amount of varying cultures, cuisines and customs all in a relatively small area. Read about what I found to be perhaps a little off-centre customs throughout Europe, and what sights I would most recommend seeing if you’re a bit short of time but still want to see some amazing things while you’re there.

Below you’ll find the very latest blogs I’ve put together detailing my travels and some of the tips and places I highly recommend if you’re visiting that particular area of the world (or even just planning your trip at the moment).
